Working day: Generally, I’m an early riser, so tend to start my day with either a run or a session in the gym before I get to work at around 7.30 am.

Like a lot of people in our industry, my typical day is a mix of phone calls, team meetings and customer and supplier visits out on the road. Coronavirus has obviously changed that – now there’s much more focus on the calls and video conferences rather than face-to-face meetings.

I’m looking forward to getting back to some sort of normality – but realistically, I think some of the new ways of working we’ve adopted during the pandemic are probably here to stay.

Whether I am on the road, in the office in Ammanford or working from home, the day always ends with a senior management round up to discuss sales, daily cash flow and general issues.
