Victorian Sliders – Europe’s largest specialist sash window manufacturer

Victorian Sliders was founded in 2005 with a vision of making uPVC sash windows a leading window product. In the space of 15 years, we’ve grown from a small warehouse and a handful of staff into a state-of-the-art production facility with nationwide depots. Today, we employ over 300 people and manufacture over 2000 windows per week. We supply award-winning ECOSlide windows to more than 3000 happy trade customers throughout the UK.

With offices based throughout the UK we can ensure you have a dedicated person in your area to handle your enquiry through to placing an order. We currently have five offices: West Wick (Weston-super-mare), Essex (Harlow), Chesford Grange (Warrington), Cumbernauld (Scotland) and our Head office in Capel Hendre (Carmarthenshire).

Recycling

We have invested in a high-tech PVCu recycling facility for our Ammanford head office in South Wales. This technology allows us to take old PVCu window frames and turn them into material that can be used within our ECOSlide window system.

State of the art extrusion line

Victorian Sliders extrudes PVCu profile exclusively for ECOSlide sash windows. We do this on-site at our HQ in Wales, with 9 extrusion lines.

Cutting & Drilling

One of many important stages is the cutting to size and drilling of the window, for this we use automated Shirmer machines which work to precise measurements to ensure every job is accurate.

Welding & Prep

The automated process continues from welding the window’s corners into position with 9 Urban welders, through to the prepping stage where the window is manufactured with run-through horns when required.

Glazing

Our on-site glass shop enables us to produce our own IGU A-rated double glazed units, each piece of glass is cut and toughened in the factory. We can also add Argon gas to units for better energy ratings when required.

Fabrication

Our skilled workforce are trained in precision and attention to detail when assembling windows, from inserting wool pile through to fixing hardware and thorough quality control, every stage is looked after by at least one dedicated team member.

Delivery & Depots

We own our own fleet of HGV transport vehicles, which distribute windows from our manufacturing facilities in South Wales to 6 regional depots. Our regional depots allow us to deliver windows efficiently to trade customers throughout the UK using Sprinter vans.
